Perpetual Inventory
do some of my Items on the Inventory Value Report have a value of “0”?
First, check your Item under Modify/Review to make sure that a cost has been entered. The program bases the value of an item on the cost at time of receipt. If you went to “zero qty on hand” and never received additional quantities, the program doesn’t know the value of that item.
What if I entered something incorrectly?
The program will allow you to make adjustments to correct the mistake.
My school site isn’t showing up when I am receiving an order. Where is it?
Your site is opened for a Physical Inventory. This must be completed before you can continue.
How can I find out how many cases of a specific item I ordered since the beginning of the school year?
Go to Reports, Vendor Analysis, Summary or Detail Report. There you can get a report by Vendor, or if you purchased an item from multiple vendors, you can get a “grand total” received in.
Is there a network version of Perpetual Inventory?
Yes, we have a networked version of the program that allows more than one user access to the database. Please call 1-800-724-9853 option 6 for more details.
What is included in the purchase of Perpetual Inventory?
You receive three 2-hour WebEx training sessions when the program is purchased.
Is a manual shipped to me?
No, the manual is on the provided CD; it can be accessed in the program for viewing or printing.
Is Perpetual Inventory web-based?
No, the program does not require internet access.
