Our Story

.

LunchByte Systems, Inc., the home of NUTRIKIDS, was founded in 1990 by Paul Moriarty. Paul's extensive background in software development and in-depth understanding of his customers' needs helped him create software applications for the foodservice industry. When the Menu Planning and Nutritional Analysis program was ready for release in early 1992, he took it on the road, making stops across the country to show people how it would save them both time and money. It wasn't long before both foodservice professionals and the USDA were showing great interest in it.

Following the overwhelming success of our USDA approved nutrient analysis software, we continued to answer our customers' needs by creating an entire suite of school foodservice software applications ranging from Back Office Management to our Point of Sale solution. We've also developed online nutrition education tools for parents, children, and educators. And we've established an unmatched reputation for training, customer service, and technical support.
